Slither! Feb 2nd
What is Slither? When the holidays are over but Spring is still far off; when you just want to curl up in a cave with an ugly warm blanket and sensible shoes; when the wind chill makes it feel colder outside than that non-planet Pluto- you know it's time to brush off the tux/gown and imbibe all over Boston!
That's right- it's the Wort Processor annual black-tie cocktail crawl. Saturday, Feb 2.
This year's Slither starts at the Top of the Hub<http://www.topofthehub.net/> for some gorgeous views at 6:30. It will be dark already, but the twinkly lights of the city are lovely!
Then we'll stroll down the street to the newly renovated, updated and hip Oak Room Long Bar<http://oaklongbarkitchen.com/the-long-bar> in the Copley Hotel at 7:30. No longer the stuffy, dark destination of previous years- and the martini garnish is a snack in itself!
We'll finish up in Central Square around 9 at Brick & Mortar<http://www.brickandmortarbar.com/menus/brick-and-mortar-foodbeverage.pdf>, where disenchanted bartenders from Drink landed. All three have delicious food to keep us fortified along the way.
